Well it is getting into a hentai platform by the looks of it. So far what I see in the video demo the jump is useless. Let’s see what can it be useful for… Jumping over a agent, jumping over multiple snowballs that are in mid and low snowballs. So you jump over the Snowballs.
I didn’t expect to see the next UM after UMCC of UMSH be a platform it is a surprise showing indeed.
People like jump though just for the freedom of movement. I have seem for example final fantasy MMO games where users complain about jumping even thoguh it is useless to have jumping and there is no need to even jump to begin with.
In relation to this game thoguh. Yeah… No I don’t plan to have jumping over snowballs lol. That would be too goofy and silly even for this game.
Let’s see, I can see jumping being useful for high flying sentinels spying down on Maiko. They don’t all have to be on a even level with the rest of the characters. Most of the times I show the larger ones they are pretty far up in the air(UM dark winter and UMv2). So for these you might have to jump to reach them in order to destroy them or paralyze them so they don’t alert the gemco agents. Hmm maybe if you have Lynn with you she can delay the agents or make it where her and Maiko don’t get into trouble.
Also if used in a running minigame as I mentioned in the video, jumping can be used to jump over hurdles and other obstacles as you race to the finish. same for punching through stuff. and jumping into water for swimming. something like a track and field day. I’d probably save that for UMCC2 though but I’d can have the running minigame in here since running is already implements and the jumping in partially implemented already also.
The idea is the the platform engine I made can be used for more than just what I show in the video. That is another thing I have yet to see… platforming and simgame mixed. The only one is this one. lol. If I add it all in.
I want to show the sent battle in separate video as well there are some improvements there.
I can see it as a strategy game for Kyle quests, but you could make more than taking pics of people, you could look for butterflies and some other animals on the forest, maybe using items to make them approach?
Go with Joey and take artistic pictures on the beach and other places, look for fairies proof of the boob fairy for Dizzy. You could sell pics of the famous Angry Girls if you could find them on the city, that could be an easter egg (they could be found everywhere at random, the mall, crossroads, city, beach and even the locker room) and they would say stuff when you take pics, being angry with you for messing up with their relaxing or for peeking them on the bath.
Wow man those are some pretty brilliant ideas I must say. I’ll think a bit more on that. The forest would allow for platforms also. Hell, with all the ideas a umcc2 seems very workable already. I really want to have artistic pictures at the very least. Butterflies and other animals adds into the lore of jlck overall.
It looks like it would be a night time side quest, maybe even hanging out with Dizzy or Lynn.
Heh knowing Dizzy tells Maiko, Fairy Boobs are real. Maiko you are bless by the fairy boobs. If Lynn is with Maiko. Dizzy looks at Lynn and see she is the most bless by the fairy boobs of all the others. Maiko goes along with it but doesn’t believe it. Lynn actually thinks there is some truth to it. Maiko doesn’t know about Lynn secret of hiding how big her breast really is. Or why Lynn is always shy.
I played the demo’s I notice Lynn comes out at night without her bodyguard. Thinking you have plans to do stuff with Lynn at night with Maiko. By the looks of the demo.
Yeah Lynn was going to have a quest where she investigates more into what her parents do. It is on the old forums somewhere. I’m still not %100 what I’m going to do in regards to Lynn’s boobs yet. But it would be interesting if I had objective that simply said to take a picture of the boob fairy. heh.
