  1. Time to upgrade man, make sure you build it as a workstation. Using more than one video card so you can multitesk running the game debugging etc. Make sure you go above 8GB of ram and have 2 video cards in that build. It will make your life easier when you debugging and have 2 monitors one the game the other looking at what is going on.

    1. I mentioned soonish but I actually made this post from the store with my phone while I was getting a new PC lol
I only got the 1 gtx 980 and 8gb ram. I don’t think I’ll be doing anything super graphic intensive like a youtuber to twitch streamer might. They actually record new gameplay footage while at the same time rendering and uploading videos, yeah that takes a lot of ram. I looked at the triangle alienware box that angryjoe got but it was over priced by about 800 to 1k. this new on is still not liquid cooled, so maybe next time. the fan one i had earlier did last for a long time though, and actually the fans are still spinning just fine to this day.

I use my tablet screen as the second monitor thoguh in case I need more space.

will take a few days to get set back up but then I should be able to do more. maybe start streaming again.

      1. 2 video cards work best one focus on the game testing the other the debugging. People wonder what is the purpose of linking 2 video cards together. Yeah you can make both do 1 game to out do a PS4. That is not the point, it is to do multiple stuff with lots of monitors. 1 video card no matter the low power you use. You are making the video card focus more than one monitor or doing multiple stuff. All you need to do is buy the same 1 gtx 980 8gb ram link both together and you’ll be set. Or you could do a angryjoe, I feel angryjoe got rip off. Building it, I can make it more powerful and cheaper than alienware.

He got a motherboard that allows 3 video card slots and four slots of ram to add gddr5 ram comparability. And allows to put a intel 9 series the new processors in that mother board. Also you might want to make sure nothing is wrong with your HDD. You know your hard drive. If I was you I’ll switch to a SSD those don’t need to be defrag at all. And out last the old HDD. Soon SSD 1 gb are going to be cheap. Because a company is making a 8TB SSD. When that comes out the 1 gb are going to be cheaper down in price. And when it does buy 1tb of ssd and never look back of those old hdd. That can burn out a cluster out of that disk. When those new ssd be release it is going to put the final nail in HDD.

  2. When you say you “ran memory tests”, what exactly are you saying?

90% of the time (I work in a computer repair store in the uk) performance issues and down to a dying hard drive. I recomend you run this program “CrystalDiskInfo” : http://crystalmark.info/software/CrystalDiskInfo/index-e.html.

Hard drives normaly have about 5 years of good use before they start to die off, depending upon stress/use.

I also recommend you look into having multiple hard drives.
1X HDD, a standard disk with a large capacity. 500GB-1TB.
1X SSD, a solid state drive. Up to 500GB.
Use the SSD to as a “Workstation”, saving project’s and programs you use often on it. Whilest using the HDD as storage/backups/os.

    1. Can’t wait for the new tb4 to 8tb SSD it is going to make the 500gb and 1tb SSD cheaper to buy. YEs I’m going to replace my HDD’s with SSD. And never look at HDD ever again. Unless you don’t mind having to defrag your HDD. Remember you don’t need to defrag a SSD I mean you can defrag a SSD but would be pointless.

Here is why by looking at a inside of both. Just by looking you can tell how HDD store memory vs SSD store memory and why SSD store memory faster than a HDD.

  3. I had the exact same problem around a year ago, after a bunch of troubleshooting it turned out to be my hard drive. Got a new one and use my old one as storage, everything still works like a charm. That MIGHT be your problem, but it could also be a myriad of other things. That’s what really sucks about computers XD

    1. yes on those ask sites or forums people post something as the solution but it doesn’t work lol. but like right now it is working fine since i haven’t ran anything on it that causes my fans to span faster. so it might be a heat issue. might need to reapply thermal paste or something.

  4. Talvez seja a hora para mudar tudo. Compre um PC novo, com peças de linha. Aproveitar a mudança e usar um pacote da Adobe recente.

    1. yeah I currently have two computers set up at the moment as I slowly transition from one computer to the other.
