    1. Going to add the hangar also to prevent the ship from being raided. It will be part of the “you are in the same area too long” mechanic. It gets harder and harder until you move on. I’ll probably have that new shield ship show up also lol.

    1. The short answer is yes but it will be later. She will have a side story where she is the focus. The art and animations are done for it already.

      The reason it will later is because the infrastructure I’m adding in this update, such as the shooting minigame, planet backgrounds and descriptions, etc. are crucial in implementing both her story and Arielle’s story. I don’t want to just shoehorn in animations if the context is not ready.

  1. Incredible this and the other updates, wonder how much will the online version get, could you add a hard mode for the online? As always a perfect job waiting for more.

    1. I normally think about it later when I’m closer to being finished. I haven’t thought about it yet.

    1. it won’t be a date sim ever but yes there are a few things I could take from vandread and rework it. A date sim aria might be in a form of a spinoff the focuses on Luma’s team.

      1. with luma team ? sounds great! , I said vandread because games that you can walk on the world (game world) is great!, you have a little freedom and transform the game in another game more cool and fun hehe.
        And vortex you intend to add mini games to sex scenes ? because is more interactive and more fun, like a clicking, pressing a button or a feel meter.

        1. I have been adding more rooms so eventually you could travel to them if it is thought out how that would work exactly. I mentioned traveling around the ship earlier but it doesn’t seem practical to do here like it was in vandread.

          the difference between vandread and this is that you are assigning tasks for multiple characters and not just your own character. It is more convenient if that is done from a central location. even splitting the tasks is ify because also unlike vandread, this is not a date sim. at most when you meet a girl in a location on the ship in ARIA you could talk or try for sex perhaps. There is no gift, date, or anything like that.

          What I was planning to do ultimately is have it where there are different rooms on the ship and you assign a girl to a specific room and ultimately a different management role the perform.

          like assigning a girl to a kitchen or cooking room or whatever increases food, while assigning another to the holodeck will train some of their stats, assigning a specific girl to a s room has different effects. And you can go talk to them to see if they like their assigned role or not. Those are just ideas floating around for now though.

          1. not a sim date, I wanted to say a game you can upgrade your ship, visit planets,explore the ship and others things, and sim date you already made :D.(but this is complicated to do and take a long time, and aria is great!, these things you can add with time)
            And a guy asked on the forum if the yui and rape scenes will be available on next update.

          2. EDIT : the assignment is a good idea and make the girls more usable , and I don’t have much to talk about it you said all hehe.

    1. it always contains the updates from the old version plus a few things from the current. I haven’t thought about exactly what. Currently I am just focused making stuff.

  3. Say, will the holodeck also be used to give players a chance to practice things like the shooting minigame, without risk of crew injury or otherwise on loss?

    1. Not a bad idea, although I suppose Vortex has already created the shooting game separately to practise on. It would certainly be cool to have it if it’s no problem to add in.

    1. How would you explain the use of clones in the game in place of a holodeck? It would seem somewhat inappropriate and unnecessary to have clones of the enemy on your main ship not doing anything productive for your crew.

      1. they could be imperfect clones, just lasting a few hours before desintegrate or something like that. Also, could need rescoursces to create one

        1. That would make sense but in order to continuously recreate clones of those individuals would you not need to capture and imprison them? That would be a potential plot hole since Jeo and his unit have never taken captives. They either fought or talked their way through the enemy to their main objective.

          1. Not necesseraly, they could make a storage of dead cells or body fluid to use as base for cloning

  4. @Over9000 That may also make sense but over time, body fluid does dry up and solidify, as well as dead cells not being usable for replication and cloning, hence why they are dead cells so neither of those things would be useful for cloning as you would need live DNA from the individual in order to clone them.
