  1. Well everything looks like it’s coming out as you plan. Even if it’s a little late but take your time. So far the new interface for Aria is looking better than the old interface icons.

  2. New UI looks good. I liked the unobstructed view of the girls you showed in the other post but this is similar to the old system so I can’t complain.

    Why were resources removed from space battles? Was it just to encourage people to use the new gather command or are trying to control the game economy?

    1. UI is not final just temporary so it may or may not look like the design I had earlier or even like this. I want to wait for Eriot to weigh in on it.

      more about to control the economy. it skyrockets towards the end with combination of mercs plus space battle. plus the idea is making the raids faster to clear so less of a need for MLaWs etc. I added MLaWs quick clear as a extra thing you use maybe once, not really a critical component of the game you need to save up for in each area because you don’t want to bother with the raids.

      1. I’m worried that w/out space battles giving resources the player won’t have an incentive to do them. I’m assuming that they will still give mercs, but Phia can get those from the Free command and from the new mini games you suggested.

        Maybe instead you should leave space battles as is and just dramatically increase the cost of MLaWs. Actually you should probably increase the cost of MLaWs anyway because later in the game it’s almost cheaper to use a 10,000 resource MLaWs than it is to use 5-6 raid bombs on like 8 ships.

        1. The space battles are required to progress in various areas of the game. I never intended the space battles to be farmed. It is just something you prepare for and do once. It is why I eventually had a random agent appear after. But that is not the right solution. People even reported it as a bug lol. Eventually I might have each area split into sub areas maybe or have smaller scale battles leading up to it like the Arielle story stuff.

  3. A shame about the talk, recover and punish commands going missing.

    Punish could keep ’em obedient pre-emptively, talk could give you a feel for their personalities, and recover, when you got the 100% effectiveness upgrades, could helpfully speed up the process of recovery.

    And a thing I forgot to mention on the Jeni update but which is still relevant because Maiko is in the same or a similar position here: That’s one of my favourite sex-positions to look at, so that’s awesome.

    1. Because it not a order doesn’t mean the mechanic is removed. It is repositioned or reworked to not need it as a order command.
      calm down with this negative posting saying stuff is a shame. you haven’t even tried it.

      1. I agree with Vortex on this one, the commands that were removed weren’t really necessary.

        I’m assuming punish will be handled the same as it was previously, if a girl defies your order you will have the option to punish them. Since it injures the girl it shouldn’t have been used as a primary means of controlling them anyway. It’ll still be there, it will just be handled contextually.

        Talk was also unnecessary. It was basically a way to skip a turn the same as Free, but without any advantages. I agree that it was a nice way to get to know the girls, but they talk to you at the end of the day anyway.

        Recover, like punish, is probably still in the game. Previously if a girl was injured and you selected anything besides recover, the girl would ignore your command and recover anyway. Since this process is automatic anyway it didn’t need a dedicated button.

        Eat/Sleep being removed was something I was on the fence about, however there was an automatic system in place just like recover. If a girl was hungry and you gave her a command that was anything besides eat just would just ignore you and go eat anyway. The same was true with sleep. For this reason it didn’t need a dedicated button either. My main issue with this was that food/fatigue is still represented by a number. If the player can’t do anything to stop the numbers from decreasing then why even have a number? Maybe just replace the numbers with a “HUNGRY” and “TIRED” message just like the “INJURED” message.

        1. There would be number under the hood anyways. But it is being reworked anyway. This post is my current changes however changes are still in progress.

  4. What’s going to happen to the research that increases resources gained from space battles? Will it be replaced with a gather upgrade or will the girls just get better at that through their stats?

    1. I thought that research increased all resource gains. Could have sworn it increased them when I was gathering but I could be mistaken.

  5. The ARIA changes sound pretty promising! Will be interesting to try it out. I kind of liked the punish and talk commands but I’m not against the change as I see how you could integrate those into the game in other ways. 🙂
    Looking forward to trying UMCH eventually too.
