  1. It’s quite boring just to move your hero from left to right and vice verse. Often it also depends only on your luck. And the bombs – it’s like “press X to win” – too simple.

    I think, the game would be better if there were hiding function during the battle instead of huge amounts of enemies. If both you and the enemies will be able to hide, for example, behind a wall to prevent the injury, it will make the game more interesting and in the same time it will make you rely on your skill more than on your luck.

    Maybe you should add gun reloading too. It should work really fine together with hiding function.

    Have been interested also: do you have any plans on adding voices to the game?

      yes where the targets and bombs appear is luck, however the rest of the game is entirely skill based imo.
      you need to click off bombs, avoid stage hazards by moving and ducking. it is skill because it matters how you react to things. I don’t believe that camping behind a wall to avoid stuff is skillful.

      When you decide to use a bomb will be important later.
      also the beginning levels are not supposed to be hard. it is so the player can get used to playing it.

      I didn’t plan to add enemies hiding also because it just artificially extends the length of the battle. The stage hazards and bombs already serve to disrupt the player enough.

      The gun Amp has doesn’t need to be reloaded. it is most similar to a laser gun.

      I didn’t plan to have any voice acting for this. maybe later.

      Did you get to the Kim part ? a person on patreon said the game kept looping on the second battle. there should be 3 battles in this.

      1. Soldiers always hide behind something during the battle. Well, if not hiding then something else – I’m not sure, probably should think about it later. Firefight between a single person and a squad in an open space just looks weird, you know. 🙂

        The idea of reloading laser guns came to me from Mass Effect 2 and 3.

        In short, there’s a lot of space for improvement. Just giving you ideas. I’m sure you will make the game better.

        Yeah, there were 3 battles in there and the last one with Kim. It loops only if you get killed.

        1. I can add something in front of Amp and the enemies in the terrain if it helps aesthetically.

          These laser guns are more like star wars laser guns.

    1. Nah I the demo doesn’t get to that part.
      the third stage you probably need to have a bomb ready unless you have some next level clicking skills.
      if you don’t have a bomb your are probably fucked.
      you also need to make sure you avoid the first cluster of bombs completely. getting hit by two or more will kill you. you might need to click on or two of them off depending on the situation.

      clearing out everyone but Kim wit ha bomb will make it more manageable. you probably need to click off her bombs also because they do a lot of damage. potentially one shotting you if you already took some damage.

      in the full game the lasers will probably nearly one shot you also.

      1. It really doesn’t matter if you DO have incredible clicking skills. If you can’t kill most of the bomb throwers, while also dodging dozens of bombs that basically cover the entire map all at once, you’re fucked. The guy that was talking about it being too easy may have been right about the first stage, but the third I see no way of beating without a bomb. So, you might want to try to lessen the amount of bombs or give another way to deal with the soldiers quicker when it comes to that stage, unless you want it to be a bomb=win, no bomb=lose situation.

        Other than that, I really don’t mind the simplicity of the game, so long as it’s beatable. I’ll be honest, I mainly keep up with this for the awesome art and sex scenes, so the game aspect isn’t incredibly important to me. It’s just a fun way to feel like I actually earned those sex scenes. Speaking of which, I’m disappointed there wasn’t any preview of a sex scene in this demo. =( Amp is definitely one of my favorite girls in terms of looks.

        1. Thanks for the feedback. People are here for different reasons, but if you will get upset if there is not any hentai in demo designed to test for lag, then you are probably in the wrong place.

          Also my comment about next level clicking skills is a joke. obviously it is next to impossible can’t click the bombs fast enough and click the enemies. Having said that. I’m fairly convinced the third level is exactly how I want it aside from any lag issues. Anything I make is beatable but stuff gets harder as you go along or requires you to figure something out. The items are in the game to use. Not sure why you are mad because you need to use a bomb. People will figure out when they need to use a bomb. such as on level 3. If I make this game and you go through it without using any bombs then I didn’t design it correctly. There will be other items also that you will need to use at critical times.

          1. Oh, man. I’m not mad or upset. I just like to put emphasis on things to get the point across. Sorry if it seemed like I was actually pissed off or something. I just wanted to ensure you knew that the 3rd level was definitely not likely to be beaten without the bombs. Whether you want it that way is up to you, I was just getting the information out there.

            The thing about being sad there was no hentai in it was more of an offhanded compliment about how much I like your sex scenes than an actual disappointment. I know things need testing and whatnot.

  2. The demo is good, well it is very hard do to the big red ball of it hits you. A game over hit hit kill. I’m sure you plan to fix that. But the concept plot is looking good.

    1. Thanks, those bombs nearly one shotting you is probably how it will be heh. you need to avoid them or click them off. it is better to maybe take a few smaller hits or pass through a laser then to take a bomb hit. that is the skill part of the game.

      one thing different there than in ari story is amp might optionally find some tech as you progress.

      1. Well Wave is with Amp, Maybe Wave help out in battle in some way. She carry a katana or something. I guess trying something different than Aria mini that you have with Arielle.

        1. I was thinking about making a mechanic for that with Wave but she is guarding from flanks. It is actually very important to the story. did you get any lag while playing? if so where ?

          1. At Max graphic settings, the 2nd and 3rd mission frame drops happen when more than one bomb and the yellow lazers come around. With practice avoiding the bombs isn’t a problem. Shooting them before it blows up isn’t a problem. Until one than 4 to 6 pop up. Better to take a hit from a yellow lazer. 1st stage easy to beat without using a bomb. Second might as well use one. But is is easy to beat it without using one. The last stage better to use one and the final boss for the demo. The Bomb does jack shit even if you use a bomb. The guards drop but not her.

            On med and low setting no frame drop at all. Hope this feedback helps.

  3. Whoo! I did it! Save your bombs for Kim, there are WAY too many men with her to beat her without them. The bombs killing you instantly is kinda dumb, since your bombs don’t kill Kim instantly and Amp is WAY better than she is. Looking forward to the finished product!

    1. did you get lag on level 3 ? Also during this time Kim is under special agent training and more resistant to Khalei bombs. Amp during this time has had no such training.

      1. No, I don’t think so. But maybe that’s because I played the flash version and not the browser one? Would you like me to play the browser version and check for lag?

        So how would Amp keep herself safe from her own bombs if she doesn’t have that training? From the perspective the distance isn’t astronomical, but I don’t know the range of the bombs. It managed to wipe out all of Kim’s troops in one go.

    otherwise it is pointless for me to post demos like this at all.

    the stuff being mentioned here so far is working as intended.

    1. 2nd and 3rd stage when more than one bomb and the yellow lasers are coming there are frame drops in max setting. In mid and low setting no frame drops.

      1. I actually forgot about quality settings thanks. Yeah I might default to normal instead of high. Or just during battles.

    I never knew you could shoot the bombs! No wonder I found it so friggin hard all the time in ARIA! Can you believe I was passing those raid bits without doing that? (Unless ARIA is different…)

    1. That was the exe version, by the way. The browser version seemed ok. Maybe more lag but I could have imagined that. Not sure. Not serious anyway.

    2. Thanks yeah in ARIA you can not bother with bombs. They are ignorable especially as you build the girls stats. Not so much here. Some stages you will probably need to click a few of them else you will get reckt

    Game lags out considerably in the 2nd area when the area’s lasers pop up, but I was eventually able to beat it. 3rd area lags out so bad that I get killed by the bombs before I can do anything.

    1. Yeah I think dual core will just be fucked. I will have a low graphics settings option though that might help a little. The hazard lasers can also not have transparency potentially.

  7. For anyone playing on a laptop with a touchpad, you can control Amp with the arrow keys or the ASD keys. Took me awhile to figure that out but it’s a lot easier than using the arrows and trying to Aim/Shoot with my left hand.

    1. there is sound in the main, thoguh I’m not overly big on sound effects because all people do is ask for me to add a way to turn them off lol. it is a bit of a hassle making a check to see if you have sfx enabled at each part where a sound effect might play.
