  1. Fallout games can be short if you skip the side quest and go for the main story events. Plus those side quest what I’m hearing have graphic bugs up the ass. From frame rate issue to models just vanishing.

    1. I did a lot of the side story stuff or it seemed I did as much as I wanted to. I didn’t find interest in the other faction quests. A lot of it seemed to be (annoying) repeatable quests and the world enemies became pretty much pushovers. I’ll wait for any dlc to do more.

  2. I wasn’t sure it was mathematically possible to be done with a Fallout or Elder Scrolls game by now, even if you like hate sleep or something. I get that not everyone is a completionist but at this point idk if you even got your money’s worth out of it.

    1. I got 50 hours it that is good enough it is as much as I want to play. Anything else I can watch on YouTube during my lunch breaks. char lvl 32, got all the endgame weapons I was interested in, around 20 people in my main settlement 10 in my other I had a supply line to, all the basic shops in the settlement, 40+ water and food and 90+ defense. Did the botherhood and minutemen questline stuff. The other two faction quests and stuff didn’t seem interesting to me because I mostly (not fully) agreed with brotherhoods views on the situation way more than the other guys. Trying to say all this without spoilers.

I think I got lucky with items also. a few things that helped me out early on, on my first minutemen mission I got the bladed tire iron, which has like 30 melee attack that damn near 1 or 2 hit raiders if you get a running start. and that was with only 3 points in strength. I also had the chem resistant stuff so most bosses I just rushed down with psycho drug and melee attacks + well timed blocking. If you play their little ranged shootout game you will be in trouble and lose in most boss fights with named characters. most bosses I found you can just get into range where they try to melee you can you can just block them while you ally dpses them down freely. getting in good melee hits will stagger them a bit. jet helps a lot also to slow down time. I was eventually immune to chem addiction so it was no biggie.

also early on I made pretty good use of the crank laser rifle mostly one shoting star enemies. I killed a lot of skull and star enemies early on in the game by just sneak attack + heatshot with the crank laser fully cranked from the shadows. got good gear early on. Among this gear was a item where the lower your health was the more defense it gives you up to +35, so I have a item that also gave me up to 46 armor that is equivalent to one lowest grade power suit armor piece.

I think I started with 7 out of 10 charisma then quickly found items that gave me a total of +5 chr so I never failed any charisma checks. and as a result didn’t have to do any extra work as a result of failing to convince people to do something or reveal much needed info that also helped me level up faster with you get one of the ally characters.

also after I eventually realized the demotions expert and science perks that was a wrap on everything else. dealing with explosives is my preferred playstyle in games like these. After that point most groups of enemies were gone with a single well placed grenade, missile or mine at a choke point or place the enemy could not possibly escape it.

    1. I wan to add in the ship stuff if possible one that is good that go the game should be also. Idk I felt like if a I gave some time estimate it would be very incorrect. I will see how far I get with it today.

  3. I got the ship upgrades thin going in ARIA but there are some obvious things I need to fix. will post more on it later tonight after I get that and some other stuff ironed out.
