so based on the feedback from
this post: THE PLAN FOR UMCC
I’ll just basically leave the art as it is. Pinoytoons is delayed a bit on ARIA due to some personal issues.So I will use the time to continue adding in suggestions for umcc until he is basically almost done with literally all of the art for ARIA. The only thing I will do on ARIA is work in the GUI and HUD designs and scripts until I am done adding a bit more of the ideas for umcc. I will actually show some of that ARIA later.
But for this to happen I will need to take a moment to optimize the game. this is mainly the art. and how I build the character movieclips in flash.
Previously, I had it where I could make any character in any clothing attire all in the same movieclip. I my head that was the best to do it. all I had to do was change a few values and I had gym pattie, or school greel, or nude Luma, anything could be made from the same movieclip with any facial expression and any arm position.
The problem with that was the movie clips was too bloated. Having a “do all” movieclip caused me to not be able to move it or drop it into places. Right now I have well over 100gigs of virtual ram just to move this thing around and sometimes that still is not enough. Flash will just crash and die. usually resulting in the game file becoming corrupted and not even opening in flash anymore.
Later, I broke it down by outfit. So it was basically the same thing, a “do all” movieclip but it was specific to what outfit it was. it is why sometimes I will tell you that you that a certain suggestion is not possible where they have different outfits in different areas. Like I can’t have nude character show up in the mall to talk to Maiko. It is because there is only one outfit in the mall movie clip (the school outfit) in order to make it more manageable to work with. This is how the game currently is, but this still is not enough.
What I need to do is further break it down by both character and outfit. So for example, instead of a “do all any character in gym attire” movie clip I would have multiple ones that are more specific by character. like a “Luma in gym attire” movie clip. That way that movie clip does not need to have any information or art specific to boys (like a dick or a male body) or any hair, breasts size, or eye color, etc, other than what is specific to Luma. This will make this much easier for me. And if I can do this it would be much easier to continue doing UMCC for a longer term before I would need to move on to a sequel.
So will take the action to make theses changes in the game so I can work on UMCC longer. This would delay the need to start on a sequel from scratch. While I am updating the movieclips I will also make a few changes to the art such as adding those new faces. and maybe taking a few parts from the art resources to alter the hair a bit and make the clothing a bit more detailed.. thoughts on this?
in case anyone missed older posts this it what I have in mind for the next update after the stuff I mentioned is completed. Looks like I am getting close to being done with stuff overall. some of the ideas are either already in the game partially or I am not willing to do for this game.
some things I had in mind for it: (this not everything I still need to look as the list)

custom shirt nude base option (I will probably leave the side view as it is)

there was this cool idea to auto answer all the test questions correctly if you have a sentinel and use the sentinel pen.

Well if Aria is delay I don’t see why not fix bugs or do a little update here and there. I have already wrote a text idea for a sequel UMCC. It involves the old combine hairpin of the UMCCM into why it’s in the sequel. I’m still thinking what type of plot can possibly be. When it hits me I’ll write it on the script and idea section of the page.
As for UMCC I have no complain at all, but there are users that want some things in the UMCC game. So why not since you are waiting for Aria art to be send to you.
Yeah that was my thought process at least. I’m not in a real rush at the moment anyways.

There are things that need to be fixed as well. The photoshoot thing;
– Getting 2 guys to follow you out of the area.
– Removing everyone out of the area.
– Making your support cum (Not sure about this one if it works properly or not. I failed even though I made him cum.)

yeah getting a bit tired with it. I’m starting to think it is easier to just take stuff out that doesn’t work =/
especially stuff like that that is already extra stuff added at the last minute. I’ll look into it. I might feel differently after I reduce the burden of the movieclips.

It seems you have a plan already, with all this happening Aria will have to wait a bit more, but with that you can use that time to polish UMCC too.
I like the ideas so far, and how people asked the bg characters to be included in sex minis. At first i thought i would take him as a partner, and do stuff to him. But custom characters can grow too much in number and that would be troublesome.
Then I thought they could appear at random at the cafe and so on. But when that happened, they Maiko or they would say something. For example: Roy: WOW, I can’t believe I will be serviced by Maiko! That can be too much for me to endure.
Maiko: Just relax and try not to blow it too early 😉
And so on. It would be random as meeting them at school. I dont know if that is going to work though…
Now, its easy to see the boys going and looking for some fun. But i dont know about the girls, not that they cant do yuri. But i was thinking on finding them at the cafe sometimes and you can try and convince them to join you? (needs to be alone)
Well, both of the sexes can be at the camera surveillance thing too.
The game seems pretty complete now, and with the additions. I cant imagine what to add with what you have currently, taking other custom stuff that can be made. I can only see new minis, but those are for another game.
there is lot of stuff I can add to further continue the story and several funny scenes people wanted to see more of. custom characters here can only do much because the game is coded in as2 code. with much be much easier in as3. by I will try to make the customs into actually students in later games.

Here are some things/ideas that you can add/fix.
– I see some people want more mini games. Even though I’m not a big fan of these games, you can add Air Hockey. Maiko needs a friend with her to play and the loser pays money to the winner. Like a gamble?
– I already mentioned the bug about photoshoot. I’m suggesting to delete the buggy options and leave the rest as they currently are. You can also add something rewarding when Maiko completes the photoshoot?
– Maybe Maiko can help a guy sneak into girl’s locker room and a threesome scene might take action?
– There can be more sex positions with different conversation options at the beach and in the woods when Maiko is pleasuring her mate.
– In the footjob scene, the guy being pleasured keeps coming and coming till you hit leave/finish. You can add something to that scene as it feels like its too short. Can’t think of something useful to add or change to be honest :/
– Maiko should also give a blowjob or have sex (or both) with the guy when you hit sleep.
– There can be an option to give blowjob along with a handjob when you are in boy’s locker room to pleasure. And you can also add sex option. However, there can be a slight chance for someone to see Maiko when she is having sex with the guy. The one who sees them would like to join them or just run away depending on his mood/characteristics?
These are just opinions. I know its easy to say and I really don’t have much knowledge about creating games. I also know you want to keep some content for your future games. Anyway, looking forward for the update and as soon as it comes out, I’ll be here to report bugs if there will be any.

I have no idea how i would code air hokey. I guess it would be similar to the brick break arcade game. AI for that would be tricky. Then again, pong was like one of the first games ever made.
It is unfortunate, but yeah, photoshoot is not really relevant. so I will just delete buggy stuff. I think making support cum and making a guy cum is a bit redundant anyways because the only way a support can cum is if it is a guy.
I figured the foot job scene was better to have infinite cum like that so I left it alone. maybe it can be a little game or something later.

There are games similar to the brick break game but with an AI where there aren’t any bricks, only your opponent. Air Hockey can be coded over it? As I told you before I don’t have much knowledge about such things. Just trying to be helpful.
Even though I made a male character cum in Park, Woods, Beach, it didn’t count towards the photoshoot requirements. No clue.
There can be seperated 3 options to give handjob, blowjob and having sex. They also can be in the same scene (which makes more sense) and you click these options to change the action. Then Maiko gets caught (not all the time, you can add a slight chance.) by some other male student and that student wants to join them or not depending on his characteristics. Then a new scene takes action: A threesome. If the guy is too shy to join, there can be consequences? For your question; Yes, simply straight sex animations.
We should be able to change the skin tone of our custom characters. Light Medium and Dark for a few options. Could add more if you want too, but I think there should be at least 3 options.
Yes you have mentioned this before, I am not against it, in fact @jccq89 and @justjoe2k will be able to tell you that in the past, custom characters had this option. It was for a umcc online multiplayer game I was working on. But I never really got it working correctly and smoothly. Maybe I will try again later.
however as I mentioned earlier, the character movieclip in umcc is unstable because of it’s size. The issue for me here is technical. and adding 3 different skin stones will nearly triple the size of the already too large movieclip. Also the skin colors would have a snowball effect because it would then need to added that to the sex scenes also if have them in there, tripling those movieclips also and would apply to any other move clips I have them in. I thought about different ways to do this but then end result is always a movieclip then is too heavily to even manage. I can only pull it off on that handjob scene because those guys are completely naked so I don’t have to worry about tinting clothes. But if you notice the eyes are tinted also making it flawed.
Wow it’s interesting to me seeing more of the actual creation process. I’m wondering is this why you are currently changing the movie files also? To add more to the potential customization of these characters and their skin tone? Or would it still be too large, either way it sounds like an insanely large task to add to the current project what with re doing several scenes and all. Maybe best saved for UMCC 2??
I’m all for more content in the game and I love the outline in expanding UMCC expressed here, particularly the new sex scenes, scenarios and numbers involved. Guess I have it on the brain eh?

why the game took off the number of popularity? AND I would like to suggest that instead of a number to make a graph of popularity of each character that Maiko is involved. The extent to which it relates also would have a graph, it would be easier to see the competition between the two, don’t you?
I took out popularity number because it was broken. It was also not useful to remain the game because it effects nothing in the game.
A number graph would be better to compare character relationship but there is no need to compare relation of two or more students in the way that you described. Also I would be concerned because there has to be a dynamic image is associated with a numerical value. A bar graph or a dot graph would have the same result.
As the relationship increases so does the bar or the dot would move up. There is only limited room on the tablet. One way to solve this is to put limits on the relationship levels. But again. there is no reason to put a limit on it just to have graph.
Also it would not be clear what the exact number value is on a graph. you might think you are on 2 but you are really at 1.85. The system I have in place is not the best, but it works well enough I think.
is there a way to massively boost the relationship points for the girls like you do with the guys (like the hand job you do for the guys you get 10+, here I’m wondering if we can get a variant for the girls)?
No I can’t immediately think of a way that is already in the game. So I will have to add it some kind of way.
This is a example of additional things I will have to add in due to adding in other things that people suggested like unlocking different activities at different relationship levels I don’t mind adding in most stuff people suggest. However I wanted to be very careful about things that that involve more work then it seems, or stuff that can snowball into other things I need to add in also.
What I’m currently thinking right now is that, boosting girls relationship might be something a bit more passive, like taking them to work with you, because there is a lot more girls than boys.
And by work I mean normal work, not sex jobs heh.

Drawing a lot of art is a bit overwhelming for me. and faces and hair takes the longest amount of time for me to do. Not to mention the fact that I tend to redo things over and over because I will eventually not like the way it looks and feel that I can draw it better. So I will go in circles redrawing stuff and never get anything done. Even now I am redrawing stuff.

I don’t have moivieclips like UMCC in UMCH but some of these ideas might be in umcc if I ever get around to updating the MCs.
