Haven’t made a post in while just been taking it easy during the holidays for past week or so. I think I am just about caught on up replying and messages. and posting stuff on the site I needed to.
Although I haven’t been posting, as usual things have still been getting done. For UMCH, cafe front animations are done thanks to jccq and I plan to add them for the next update, along with more dialogue scenes and hopefully the groundwork for the ice-cream stuff stuff. ttrop has been working on Art for the title screen of UMCH and some art for a remake to a old game called Daughter of Eve. I will make a posts about my plans for next year and a look back on 2016 in a post not too long from now. So more of that later.
I have recently finally made The umichan boxer game (UMCS) playable, and Agent trainer has been playable for a while now. I have also recently added framework to have achievements for playing the Highscore Arcade Games and the Leaderboard games. So I’m wondering if people are interested in having something like competitive seasons for this stuff? After period of time it would add the top people to a leaders page, give achievement them a achievement and reset the boards. possibly include other prizes also like amazon giftcards or something.
This applies to Agent Trainer, UMCS, and the arcade games for the person with the most top scores across all the Arcade games.
if people are concerned about progress I can keeps the save and just reset the rank, fans, etc.

1st place only most likely for starters.
You could possibly do that but I’m not really a competitive person when it comes to playing games. I just play for fun. But, I like the idea of seeing whoever can top the leaderboard varying from each season. It sounds fun and interesting. I’m not sure about the prizes though, being at the top of the leaderboard is what makes it fun, you get the bragging rights that you’re the best. Overall, I like the idea and I think you should implement it into the site. Lastly, take it easy Vortex, and I wish you a Happy New Year!

I’ve never been much into competitive gaming of any sort so it doesn’t concern me either way.
Resetting rank scares me a bit though since, in Agent Trainer at least, the unlockable outfits are based on your rank. It was kinda a grindfest to get up the rank in the first place and I don’t want to do it again.
yeah would replace unlocking stuff with exp most likely

Considering how easily I was able to go up a thousand ranks a day in agent trainer just by running a super simple mouse macro overnight, I feel like this would just encourage some crazy cheating. You’d need to either set up some safeguards or be okay with cheaters artificially inflating their ranks.
true, it really kills the fun on making games when I have to code in anti-cheat stuff. But I guess that just comes with the territory. There’s a few safeguards but nothing for macros.
No posts for the week yet. been getting over a cold, looks like I might be finally over it. It’s pretty rare I have one to begin with but this time it was enough to stop me from working on stuff. been trying to keep up with comments at least meanwhile.
I’m really liking the UMCS game!!
Visually, I’d love to see a blonde, redhead, and freckles options for the player character, and pubic hair would also be super hot for her… definitely more sex scenes, especially group ones with all her “fans” showing their appreciation.
Gameplay wise: It might be more quality of life if, once you’ve unlocked an outfit (say, the nurse outfit), it becomes available in the dressing room. It can be difficult to work on a goal, only to have that guy randomly strip you and then have to start over again, spamming walking in the hallway to find the right outfit.
