Vortex00 been working on backgrounds for shooter mini and first planet area, not the best BGs ever but It’ll have to do. The bottom part of the pic is from the main ship being raided. I also started touching more of the VA stuff.

still don’t have names for planets 1-4. suggestions ? planet 1 actually is two planets. planet 5 is called Ralamar.
was also looking for native aliens. not monster girls just yet, but creatures that attack you on these planets.

Thanks, I’m not sure if you will be on the surface of that planet but maybe on something orbiting it instead. We’ll see.

just going to trow some names for 1-5, Spectra, solaris-34b,valkyria, Koprulu, and Cancri…naming planets is harder than I thought :/
Spectra and Kuprulu might be good for the twin planets in area 2.
Also I was looking for some ideas on monsters. Not monster girls but actual native creatures on those planets.
It’s better than nothing and planets I like what I see.

For the names I rather like (just a few examples)
1a/b: Xini, Eris, Kiliken, Alastor, Sao
2: Solarium, Eate, Grannus, Keplar
3: Apollodorus, Lares, Romula, Cambria
4: Odin, Ishtar, Proteus

I MAY or may not have spent quite a large amount of time playing space-based exploration games XD
the first one looks nothing like a planet… it looks just like a sky with white fractals in a cirlce shape, you could just use some different texture.
the second one seems to be more of a star rather than a planet… maybe reducing the size of those explosions on the surface would work, and it would just be a venus-like planet.
third, fourth and fifth look just fine and legit.
When you detach from comparing to real life stuff you might understand better. For example planet 2 it is not fire. It is Khalei.
…as for the names… if all these planets are inside the same system, then we need coherent names.
here’s a suggestion:
– Frigg
– Hel
– Lytir
– Skadi
– Tyr
…they’re all norse gods… hope I gave you a good tip 🙂
