  1. Will this be a public release? You’ve been cranking them out lately. Luckily the quality hasn’t diminished yet.

    1. Yeah not sure how much more I will try to squeeze into ARIA. I’d prefer to move on to other ARIA stuff as opposed to trying to force myself to figure out what to make for this regularly. I’d love to try to make a ARIA game in construct 2 where having lots of particles is much less of an issue. plus it can be ported to html5 which can be played on a mobile device.

      1. Damn ARIA on mobile would be branching out quite a bit. I don’t know how you could advertise it very well but still, the prospect is there. Keep up the good work, and keep us posted.

        1. Well it wouldn’t be on google play or apple store if that’s what you mean. Not any verion with hentai at least.

          1. Couldn’t you just offer the .APK for free on the website with the hentai still in it? Wouldn’t do much for exposure and being on other ‘markets’, but it would offer players more options who visit the site regularly.

            I would have to test it, but I am pretty sure I can get it to run already on my tablet through a browser on my iPad. It works with all the games from that other website we’ve talked about before, and those are all Flash enabled. (Even the ones they dont advertise as mobile-enabled.)

          2. yeah I could, but would rather just have a .html. that way it runs on any phone on any browser. Or at least it becomes more widely avaliable to people.

            yeah there are a few mobile browsers that can run flash games, purin, dophin, are just a few that come to mind. there are probably even more. I’ve ran a few of my games with it.

            but a issue, at least for me, is designing a game that uses onscreen clicks only. Not a way I typically perfer to make a game.

          3. That does sound alot more logic than what I was thinking. Didn’t even think of HTML until now. Probably a way smarter decision in the end.

  2. Not super crazy about the idea of having to fight your own girls in rank battles, if you take the time to level your girls you should be rewarded by being able to roflstomp things. That being said, how are you planning to implement the enemy girls’ stats? Will they be equal to your girls’ stats? Will they be a % higher based on rank? Will they have a flat stat based on rank and the effectiveness based on the difference between your girl’s stats and the enemy girls’ stats?

    Either way, it might be time to consider unnerfing Bri a bit for the sake of balance. Granted when her power was charisma based and her slowdown aspect was unnaturally high her power was game breaking, but now that it’s Khalei based she’s underutilized. Khalei can only be increased by training and the combat gene. Combat gene gets less practical when combat reaches 100 or so because Aria and Phia can basically fight off anything with that much and realistically only Bri needs Khalei so you can level it to 100 and just forget about Bri since it’s more practical to level the other 3 girls’ stats. Training is also somewhat pointless since it levels Khalei so much slower than sex levels charisma and upgrades level ship, not to mention the fact that the boost to combat is completely wasted on Bri since she doesn’t raid. All this coupled with the fact that higher level rank battles require thousands if not tens of thousands of points into a girl’s ability related stat means that Bri is a relatively weak option, especially since such a weak girl gets hurt in every fight in which you use her.

    1. Space battles:
      you don’t fight your own girls per se, you just have to deal with their support abilities being used against you. the laser damage is the same as a normal enemy ship at that rank. I didn’t change anything there. I will say upfront Arielle laser is actually ridiculous heh. just like when used against the enemy, you can’t do anything with lasers or ships since it destroys them instantly. only abilities are useful during it.

      overall just figured it might be more interesting to mix in these abilities instead of getting EMP’ed all the time when the enemy doesn’t anything left to do. plus I don’t plan to have any hentai unlock over rank 20 so I figured I’d make rank 20+ a little more tricky. A lot people seem to have trouble even getting to 20.

      Bri:
      With Bri, just like any other girl you definitely need Charisma and Ship. Charisma is used for Rally to get more units in you main ship node per tick. and ship dictates the laser damage the girl will have.

      But you don’t need as much Khalei as Charisma and Ship, yeah it will be lower stat wise. Bri’s ability uses Khalei x 2 so the growth of Khalei is lower. What stats is your Bri and your set up btw? if it is only 100 Khalei then yes I intended you to train Bri more to fight the harder stuff. My Bri is 400 Khalei 5.6k ship and 1.9 charisma. And on a rank 26 fight with Tiffany support with Purin agent she seems to do just fine. I also tried without a shield support (TT) and she did okay with phia and jaina agent.

      Bri had laser burst mod, TT had shotgun, and phia had laser capture. all have assault ship III and hull III mods. I do use all the items during rank battles also but that is true for any girl. between Bri and TT shotgun basically all the nodes were wiped out to 0 units after only 2 disasters. Whatever you do just don’t bring Jeo as support since he doesn’t have mods.

      You might have been like well yeah 400 Khalei you will do good, but what makes Bri good imo is not about the damage of disaster and muscling through the fight, it is her passive ability to slow down enemy lasers and ships, and her ability to also wipe everything in the battle out instantly similar to Arielle. it’s actually better than Ari because not only does it wipe out everything, it does damage to all nodes also and resets the enemy ability bar. That makes the fights super easy because it gives you time to analyze what is going on and beat the enemy to a node, our wipe it out before it gets there. You need to take nodes with Bri while the enemy is slowed and constantly erasing all the ships and lasers. if you are not actively capturing nodes you will have a hard time. And by capturing nodes I don’t mean from the main ship, i mean close proximity node to capture another one.

      The problem with Bri is she seems either overpowered or under powered hard to balance. I don’t think she needs to do more damage with disaster tbh but the growth could be increased a bit. if any buff I think the effects of disaster could last for a second or two, similar to how Arielle laser will last for a duration. But again Arielle laser doesn’t actually do damage to nodes.

        That’s nice to hear about the lasers but I was less concerned about that than the girl’s actual abilities. Ari is fine, the laser would actually be neat challenge, and TT would just be a combination of shield ships and reinforcement ships which could also be fun..

        Bri scares me a lot. The various aspects of disaster/weaken can be countered separately (slow canceled with Linda or Vux, all node damage can be lessened with TT’s reinforcements, area destruction risk is lessened by sending ships short jumps between nodes, and ability reset works the same as emp) but the sum effect combined with EMP could be crippling. The enemy alternating emp and ability reset would ensure that your abilities could never be used, even if you used a crystal after getting hit by one you’d probably get hit by the other before you could target and activate an ability. That alone would is bad enough but combined with slow/destroying ships you’d be hard pressed to control anything.

        Phia would scare me the most though. Phia as an ally seduces nodes incredibly frequently and in some battles it’s worth it to keep the girl’s ship stat low so she can take over nodes with more units. Phia as an enemy would be unconquerable. She could seduce your nodes regardless of if they have a couple dozen thousand points on it or even if they have shields. Assuming you had Bri or Phia along you could re-seduce nodes or use disaster but emp would keep you at a constant disadvantage. If the enemy had Phia and Bri I’d have no idea how I’d compensate for it along with regular EMP attacks.

        My suggestion about stats was to help help some of these problems. Maybe if the enemy Phia had charisma it could be compared to your Phia’s charisma to produce the effect. Could be something as simple as seduce only stealing the node if the difference between the enemy Phia’s charisma and your Phia’s charisma is greater than the node total. For instance if the difference in the charisma is 500 and the node has 500+ the seduce would fail. If the node had 499 or less it would succeed. The same could work with Bri’s node damage and the Khalei stat. A similar process could be used for Weaken, slow could resisted completely if your Bri’s Khalei is higher than the enemy Bri’s Khalei and would always succeed if the enemy’s is higher than yours. Destroying ships isn’t stat based so that would have to stay as is I guess.

        Bri:
        Bri’s stats are usually similar to yours. Rarely if ever do I get Khalei over 500, Ship is usually 5k-6k and Charisma is somewhere in the 2k-5k range depending how much I focus on her in a playthrough. Her laser is either Capture or Break depending on if she has more or less charisma than the ally ship, and the ally ship gets the other. Hull is always Attack Ships III and Ability Cooldown (if I have it, Attack Unit III if I don’t) on all girls. Jainia is always my agent, her ability and the Ability Cooldown mod is the only way I can get an ability off without using a crystal when EMP gets spam happy (and even then it has to be well timed), and she gets rid of the incredibly annoying Barrier Ship. I use Crystal Reserve and Shield Matrix all the time but I try not to use Nova Wave unless I really need it, Nova always seemed overpowered to me.

        All of that isn’t important though, because Bri is kinda lackluster. You can give Bri all the Ship/Charisma you want for her Laser/Rally but if you did that for another girl Ari would get better Assault, Phia would get better Revolt and TT (who is a powerhouse) would get better Shield and Reserves.

        This is the problem with Bri, she just falls short in the leveling department. In the process of increasing a girl’s laser damage or how many points she can rally, you also increase their ability’s power. Increasing ship and charisma with Bri doesn’t have any additional benefit. The time it takes to make Bri similarly powered for Rank matches is essentially 50% higher than the other 3 girls because you need to also get Combat Gene (or Training but I pity anyone who goes that only that route). This could be completely fixed by increasing her Khalei stat with the sex option, she already uses her powers during sex to weaken Jeo so it would make sense that it would increase in the process as well. Stat balance would be up for debate, sex and upgrades increase ship by about 100 each time so idk a 10 Khalei increase per session sounds about right. The Combat Gene would still serve a function early on to increase Ari and Phia’s combat and help Bri in the process but then shift over to sex to increase her Charisma/Khalei. If this somehow makes Bri overpowered (which I doubt), you still have the injured after 1 fight mechanic to bring her in line with the other girls.

          in space battle I mentioned both in post and reply they use the support abilities. Bri only uses disaster not weaken.
          I need to double check to see what it scales off of again, but P think it is rank.

          Bri:
          I don’t have problem with bri taking longer to level because she effects everything the enemy can do all at a once.

          bri’s disaster damages all nodes in addition to laser damage dps, kills all enemy ships and lasers, also removes enemy shields, also resets enemy ability bar.
          and that’s just one ability. the other ability slows stuff down which makes it easy to micro manage nodes during the fight.

          I’m not sure why you have shield break laser on bri or even her support. that more designed for maybe TT. disaster breaks all enemy shields. plus if jaina is your agent the enemy will not be able to use another ability at all for a while. you have time to capture lots of nodes.

          you need unit III to help you hold the nodes after capturing them. you sending out like 20 unit ships that will do nothing on high rank battles.

          imo it best to play on bri disaster ability with double shotgun mod or hitting them hard with burst. and have support shotgun also.

          made small video showing a fight using shotguns. it takes about 40 seconds to clear, no items.
          not trying to speed run or anything, just normal fight. if i was I would have used items.
          it’s actually kind of a mirror match because the enemy also had a Bri and TT ship.

          imo I just think Bri needs a second or so for disaster to wear off.

    I’m excited. More Custom ARIA “Maker” stuff to play with! Branching paths, hype!

      1. Im genuinely interested in creating branching paths. It will flesh out stories so much better and make them more interesting to play. It will also give options for multiple endings, and multiple choice paths. Ill have to do a lot of editing on my stuff and redoing certain scenes as branched paths, but it will keep me busy, that’s for sure.

          1. Ive been working part of the night on some new stuff too. Mainly a very basic “Character Creator” to make pretty much any girl in the ARIA universe as well as some “new” ones from pieces of others. Put quite a bit of work into it so far but it’s like I said very basic. It will help me add more characters to my HVN though and custom backgrounds

            So far it has ten girls, three articles of clothing, two different futa sizes, and a more defined feminine area. You can toggle any part on or off by clicking a layer. Find the ones you want to use, then save as a .PNG and put it in your custom background. Very basic, but it works.

            Need to do some clean up passes on the different layers, but so far it’s working as intended.

    1. Remi got a lot of new/edited content in the last couple of updates. If however you want more Remi, you can always suggest it for the monthly poll on Patreon. I’d probably vote for it.

      1. Or use the custom scenarios and make your own, but Patreon equals support and support equals more of everything. ^ ^
