This month I got the swim mini game fleshed out for the most part, pleasure mini tested. Some of the areas connected, the character redesign created in game for the school outfit, a small alpha test, a mmd video, among other things.
Some of those other thing was me finally be able to get mmd motions into unity. I did a quick search today for backgrounds. what do you know they have much of the same 2D backgrounds I used in UMCC already created in 3D in the asset store. I wa a little hesitant about using MMD stages because those goofy “rules” on everything thoguh I may need to use the inside of a classroom.

The unity stuff looks good, could you not find a good classroom?
The only “issue” I have is they all look dark,dreary,dull,lifeless and colourless do you think you could change that?
Also the “dirty pool” looks post apocalyptic, LOL.
While I have not followed you for long I can see you worked hard this month, Well done.
You might want to put some milestone’s on patreon, you are up to $1425 and your last milestone was at $200 lol.
On that note how are you doing?
I only looked on the unity asset store and there were no classrooms. I might call realistic as opposed to dreary. The building exteriors are weathered yes. The only one that looks a little too much might be the exterior of the gym. But I’d rather adjust the shading of the characters to fit this as opposed to adjusting all the backgrounds to match the characters. I’m not even sure if I can adjust the backgrounds anyways. I tried to retexture the character in crystal horror but could not properly get the image file from the material library. I assume the character and these backgrounds are both .fbx format.
having higher milestones are good yes though it is not necessary to make any other ones, at least not currently. Maybe if I needed assistance, but there are only a few that I feel I can actually work with.
Not really big on taking about myself. thoguh I do understand that a lot of other artist take time to describe their situation in life. Some even use it as a tactic to make people feel sorry for them and donate money. I will try to only update as necessary if something is delaying me as I did in this post. Everything is fine, as am I. and I am well enough to post and update the game, and I am not in any unfortunate situation.
I can see why you want to use those BG. They look great in Unity.
I might try them with the current example I made. Plus I need to test walking to areas and initiating some sex animation or something. Because at this point it might be best to just make a umichan unity game. the exporters are pricy but unity already has exporters for the next gen consoles.

That would be amazing to play a complete 3d game. Does unity have like a adult code of conduct or something?
There are adult games made in Unity3D. Unity3D have there policies but nothing from banning you on your creativity.

Do you use Maya or 3D MAX when creating the objects and then importing them to unity?
I use 3D max because I am more familiar with that software. But if you buy from the asset store you shouldn’t need to go into 3D max or maya.
hopefully I won’t need 3D max except for modeling specific things. I will just import directly from mmd.
I have a demo of this using the school buildings kit but I can’t get the webplayer to work. the offline windows version seems to work well enough. going to mess with it a bit more.
