The first one will be recent and surprisingly (well not really) all these complaints come from the same person.
Out friend here goes around to every hentai developer and bitches and complain about lack of femdom, genitals, and other assorted stuff. If you make hentai, this person will find you eventually and almost guaranteed to leave a shitty review.
it all started with a review on the NG version of ARIA.
do you see the problem here? if you don’t, let’s take a closer look.
This person didn’t even play the game at all, yet says it needs to be fleshed out more. you can see why this person did that at the bottom of this blog post.
lets play a game. name one person you know online or off that will sit and complain about genitals in hentai. Or do they do what normal people do and just fuck off and find something they like?

It was considerate of you to reply to the original comment. When someone with diction that crappy sends up more than two red flags–which you graciously pointed out for us–it’s generally either a troll or a bad critic. I think you ran into some ungodly hybrid of the two: a shitty critic who was half-heartedly trolling you. My sympathies.
The internet is full of generic, mindless porn and hentai people can get for free. And yet, over a thousand people are paying you for your work.
This is undeniable proof of your talent. I probably don’t have to tell you this, but never let morons like this guy influence you.
I think there’s no need to speak about that type of people, because it’s only wasting of your time. I can tell, like a man who look carefully for a bunch of your works, including ARIA. I think, you keep quality of your work at very high level, and you do your best to keep going. And people like that are just taking down your mood and time. I can say it, because in Russia you can face that type of people at every step.

In my experience being nice and actually talking to these nutters only makes it worse. 🙁 Reminds me of a time I said I didn’t like a particular game on one of the big games sites. I then got a PM from some psycho telling me how shit I was because I didn’t like his favourite game! Scary…

I’ve been following you “indirectly” since Umichan 1-2 and “directly” since CC.
I’m not entirely sure if this could give you the morale you need or just self-confidence but I really hope it does.
There was a reason why many, and many people played and keep playing UMCC, it’s plot. Which already talks enough to the ones whose butthurting you on “another” community websites. You know, hentai gaming is changed a lot recently, it’s not a rare thing to find developers and such. With that I mean, most probably those guys were devs as well. They will try to harm you mentally just because you’re achieving something that they can not, and could not.
Now I’ve tried to log in to that site but hey my region blocks NG anyway, I’ll mess with the DNS later on (just got a brand new computer yesterday as a gift).
Anyway, that being said Aria wasn’t your main development project “until now” and was a kind of like “mini story teller” game. Even tho the game wasn’t so big like UMCC, people liked it and still they are trying to support you, or give you new ideas, or whatsoever they might like and not. There is nothing really anything you do wrong with that. You are expanding Aria, it was such a nice game already to be played, and I bet everyone things the same way except for people whose trying to enter to the Hentai Gaming without no skills or any love for their own game and all they do is try to shit on other people whose actually do their thing as they should’ve.
I know that you like your own creations, and I do know you enjoy it. You are not just here for patreon, you actually “do want” to see your own creation get bigger and bigger, the more person plays and like it, the more courage you get. That alone makes you a great dev already! Shit people will stay as shit people as they are nothing but ignorant spoiled brats. Just ignore them. And, keep doing whatever you do for yourself, because you are already awesome at it anyways.

Please keep doing what you are doing and improve upon them. Do not listen to people that are bitching about the game.This is the first website I check EVERYDAY for updates. I like your art style of the girls and wait for additions every time. I liked UMCH, I loved ARIA and excited to see the other girls, and waiting for another story driven sex game after ARIA is done to full.
An idea, make a card game 😀 you have enough girls for that.
Don’t pay too much attention to comments like those, some people on the internet can find something completely pointless to bitch about. Its not worth focusing on and responding to one negative commenter and ignoring the 10 positive ones around it. (Devils Advocate, somethings in the first post aren’t entirely bad criticism).
I’ve said before you should just make what you want to make, more people will enjoy your content than will leave negative comments. I know you’re on the fence with somethings in ARIA, but I don’t think you should not include them because they might draw a negative response.
That wall of text was an incredibly long-winded way of the commenter arguing that the game didn’t appeal to their preferences; not because it lacked quality but because the sex wasn’t of the sort they appreciate / consider the most gratifying.
Most effective way to address this would be to add a disclaimer of the sorts and frequency of gameplay, action, sex that appear in your game. There exist infinite spectrum of preferences, including in sex; in general, i’d speculate that the more focus is divided, the broader the audience that can be reached, at the cost of creative energy invested in each particular preference. But not all preferences have a comparably large following.
It must stink to have feedback posted that judges your work nevatively but for more or less arbitrary reasons. But otherwise, why care what they say, it’s your game and it appeals to a large enough demographic; others should figure out how to fulfill themselves elsewhere.

I normally play games like Corruption of Champions, Trials In Tainted Space, Fall Of Eden and BrothelS.In and althought their story-telling and very detailed descriptions i believe they could use some side-images to their plot like yours. I love your work and can’t wait to see more of your work! I love it! 😀

If you mean PRIMARILY for the story, then for sure I don’t play h-games at all for that.
For me, the porn is always the main draw and everything else is window-dressing.

Story can add a lot, like context and shit.
But like her, I’d be ASTONISHED if you could find many people who play porn games but like the story more than the porn.
Doesn’t even have to be a majority.
It just has to be many.
And they don’t even have to care about the porn NOT AT ALL, they’d just have to care about it LESS than the story when they really consider what they like.
