for luma you need to have sex with all the 4 main girls in one day^^ then she will offer you to fuck her … good times 😀
for yui: i destroyed all ships with the mega laser and then i battle as jeo. thats it

I’ll have to sort out the sounds at some point yeah. probably all at once since it’ll take a while to do all audio engineering. I also wanted sex sounds effects like pelvic thrusting etc. I normally do sound towards the end because it is very “heavy” in comparison to the rest of the assets that make up the game.
and I think eventually I’ll need to split some stuff out of the game because atm it has trouble compiling. it is even worse after adding just these few sound files.
It’s a shame you’re having trouble fitting everything in. 🙁 Could you make an ARIA part 1 and ARIA part 2 and have players carry across their progress with a save code? Probably too much work anyway.

On the Patreon version the girls don’t gain any stats from combat. I don’t think this was intended.

This is indented but not quite balanced as it should be, and I’m not sure what to do with Jeo quite yet. So it is kind of in a transitional state still. I didn’t want to hold the game any longer but things are still being sorted out.
I’m trying to make it make a little more sense in term of how the character levels.
For now, for charisma you need to have sex with the girl.
you gain more by having love over 150.
Soon I will have side missions to get stats also. maybe some diplomacy rng style question where the % chance the outcome is good is, is decided based on the stats.
Ship and Space are research upgrades. since for now those are assumed to be hardware components. I might try boosting the amount even more than 50 but having it decrease with each battle by s small amount to represent wear and tear on the ship.
combat affects the girl directly and not her ship so you can only level the from things where the girls is out of her ship. such as training, raids, and being raided.
I’ll try to make another update today 2.2b or something.
I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Just makes it challenging for the moment. 🙂
These changes are pretty sweet.
Even the voice-acting in the scenes is pretty great I think.
Doubtless you’ll have to find a way to code an off option, but it won’t be for my sake.
Not everything is peachy though.
Is punish sex just GONE from the free version?
I know we won’t get the specific rape scenes, but it used to be that punish increased obedience like 50 percent or so, and the punishsex increased it the other 50.
Now just “punish” increases the obedience all the way to 100 and the sex option is gone entirely.
Hell, punishment sex was one of my favourite things from the game.
Sucks a bit if that’s just entirely gone.

I’d say if we don’t get the handcuff scene for free, it’d still be cool to put back in the punishment sex, but maybe change the voice-clip.
Like, instead of whatever they normally say during penetration, it could just become “Yes sir” because they’re doing it immediately after getting their obedience stat force-maxed.
But Phia’s could stay the same because she just fuckin’ loves that shit.
Also … uh … just saying, if the Patreon guys INJURE the girls with punishsex and the free duders don’t, erm … that could be a balance issue that gives an advantage to free dudes too, so that’s something to consider.
I really don’t want the girls to get injured just from punishment alone.
And it doesn’t make sense for their consensual sex scenes after punishment to injure them.
But it’d be REALLY strange to give the free dudes an advantage over the paying ones.
I dunno, I just liked the concept of the punishsex.
Maybe have the handcuff scene be an OPTION for the paying dudes, and make it max obedience for longer, but leave in the normal punishsex for them, without injury.
And have that normal punishsex available for free as well.

Well I’d kindof like to see the rape scenes in the online version since I don’t have the ability to pay for patreon as of now and I’m sure I’m not alone. I’m cool with paying people getting early content and special input but I think the full products should be available to everyone.
nah, i have the same problem like you, but as long as patreon is used, we will never have the same “full” product as the patreon users. i doesnt make sense, for the patreon user to pay for the game, if anybody else would get the same product
Well, it’s not really fair if people who support Vortex with some money get the same as people who give no support. The online version has got most of the stuff and $5 is not much for the full version considering how good ARIA is.
I’m not sure why people can’t use Patreon. Even if they don’t have a credit card, debit cards are often available for free from banks and there are services like Vcard and Entropay that give you a credit card number that you can load with cash. :/

Realistically there needs to be an incentive for people to pay. There’s no getting around that.
outside of going into a deep discussion about this, usually I find that when someone is deciding to get the patron or not the first question, and many times, the only question asked is what are the differences between the two versions.
also I spent time today going though a lot of patreon who have over $10k amount to at what they have and are offering trough pledging. when people mention other patrons give things for free after a times period I find this to be only partially true in almost every case. It is wrapped in different packaging the end result is the same. As Sudieken mentioned, there is incentive in all of them. For me it just happens to be rape atm since I’m not keen in it being public in the first place. But if not rape it would be something else.
I don’t think the sui-may raiding scene takes account of my raid training and combat stat.
I have about 255 HP on Phia, but the sui-may raid scene started me with 100.
Dunno about anything later in the game, I haven’t reached there yet.
that sounds right without even checking it, I forgot to update that. it uses different variables.
Is there any particular reason that the girls will refuse an order to recover when they’re injured? I ask cause now that punish causes injury, ill sometimes get caught in a loop where they disobey and I punish to get their obey higher, but in the next days when obey goes down, they’ll disobey and I need to injury them again to get it back up which can repeat for a while. Until you get the lucky first day recovery.
If you manually order them to they might refuse yes, even if not in their best interest just to be rebellious. It is best to just pick something else they like and let them recover on their own.
I made injury kind of annoying so people might think twice about getting them injured.
once you get Remi or Goo thy recover on the first try. You can try using the talk order also to raise obey. if they refuse you lose a lot less than what you would gain for being successful.
I have both Remi AND Goo, and sometimes when I click “recover” I get told that they’re “away recovering”.
So the guaranteed 100% recovery doesn’t seem to be working.

One quick question: Ari and Lume are capable of firing lasers from nodes they control. However, for Ari at least these lasers don’t seem to have any effect whatsoever. Is that just an oversight or am I missing something?
yeah I think they only damage the strength on the enemy shield atm. I’ve looked at it a few times in the past but just forgot about it. it is odd to even begin with because to my knowledge they use the code. it’ll have to be fixed in a later version after 2.2b
