keep in mind these are my current changes not the final result of everything.
This where I’m at currently in a series of unfinished changes, and before you ask no I don’t know everything that I will change, else I would post them.
some changes I have to play test to discover what specifically needs to be done. a example would be exactly the content of the space station.
I have a general Idea about what I’m trying to do though.
Sex is removed as a order
Jeo stats are displayed in missions info
Make food button is removed
UI change to some of the buttons and where information is displayed.
Phia no longer gain mercenaries during free
The girls can cook to increase the food supply and they have different cooking skills that are meant to be more character personality driven so not upgradeable individually.
the cooking research applies to all girls.
yes eat will be in free
after testing these are some possible changes I will do:
merc workforce cost increases exponentially
adjusted stats and enemy damage from being raided.
being raided will begin to occur later.
bri weaken time reduced
bri will become injured after space battles
raid training allows, bombs can be used when you get raided to do heavy damage to all enemies instantly.
all instances of mercs will probably be changed to be called agents
store stuff (still deciding what will be here)
buy AI robot – sex options
advanced stealth system – increase days before raids begin
bombs obtained here cost less maybe 200
can buy mercs?




Is Bri getting injured after battle a certainty? I get that she’s weaker than the other characters but she’s not sickly or crippled. Maybe make it a random chance that she gets injured and the chance decreases as her stats go up?
none of this is certain heh, I just mentioned it is possible. It is the vibe it got after testing the current changes and re-reading all the dialogue I typed.
It might not be explained properly in the game. she is not sick but she is the only pilot that uses Khalei powers herself in battles. she is her weapon. all the other girls have GemCo technology that use stored Khalei Crystals. Phia has very good/fast ship engines and fast shooting laser cannon, Ari has MLaWs and TT has shield generators. Bri sits in her ship and uses her own power from her body.
destroying other ships and their lasers and slowing down a entire space battle I think would be very taxing on her, especially being not very combat experienced or liking it much. I don’t think it is bad as it seems, but I will test it.
when you get goo any of them will recover immediately on the next order you give her. an I think you get goo in area 4 or something. there could be a way to prevent it but idk what that would be. you could buy some kind of khalei focus I guess. they certainly would not have spare saboteur khaei laying around. or a option to recover all girls can be in the space stations also. it is something to think about.
I agree that it would be very taxing on her, but I don’t think it would injure her. In most cases like this, be it games/comics/movies/etc., when someone with powers over uses them they generally pass out but are otherwise unharmed. Maybe just increase her fatigue loss from battle?
I can try it but I’m liking injured better for a few story reasons also.
The nature of saboteur Khalei is different from the other Khalei, the exclusion is natural/clear/typeless Khalei. saboteur inflicts the users also when using too much of it. This is seen where Maiko also becomes injured when using too much of it in the original UM Dark Winter flash. it just simple causes her hairpin to explode because it is volatile. Bri wouldn’t explode but would perhaps burn like hell in her skin and eventually kill her.

Injury from saboteur Khalei also in great way to reinforce the fact that she doesn’t like fighting. This is probably a reason why she doesn’t like it aside from death, etc.
It also leads into a great story plot for her that can include that yuri sex scene between her and Remi that was in the gallery yet not in the game. Remi studies the effects of saboteur Khalei and why it is fatal. Previous bri experiments included. The thing discussed there was some kind of alien artifacts that could potentially kill her outright. But would also make her strong. i guess strong enough to control the volatility. It is also a good for the alien and the planet surfaces to use the artifacts.
Remi will also be in umch studying Maiko to build up the story of Remi more.
If Remi studies Saboteur Khalei then maybe she knows a way to lessen the negative effects of using it. Perhaps once Jeo aquires Remi then Bri won’t get injured anymore. It could play out like Sui-May and the raid mini or Goo and Jeo’s stats.
The scene in question could be her “teaching” Bri.
Trying to find the perfect game play element for this game. Nothing wrong with balancing the game to make it feel right. The game is already a good RTS. Looking forward when the game gets finalize.
Should be interesting hopefully. It will play a bit differently almost like a new game.

I think it’s good to have Bri not being able to do combat consecutive turns or too much combat in a row. ‘Injured’ maybe sounds a bit harsh though? Anyway, it’s cool that you’re trying new stuff.
feel free to post concerns as Brigma is doing and I can try to explain my thought process or what I might intend to do. I just ask that you reserve saying something is outright good or bad before playing it heh. after you play it you are of course more than welcome so say it is good or bad and I can perhaps make some adjustment or change something.

so being injured is not really that big of a deal in comparison to the lore of saboteur Khalei killing others. The idea I want to get across that it is highly dangerous and kills people, not just something that tires you out heh. if you notice when bri talk during her end-of-day talk part she is in a close off dark chamber.
I should also make have sex with bri lower Jeo’s stats or make them not recover him to full. it is conflict between jeo being healed from sex and Bri draining energy from others when in close contact. her suit does help with that a bit thoguh. I think I mentioned something about that in the GemCo Armory post…

yeah the armor they all wear provides some protection from Bri. But when they have sex they are naked so… and again saboteur Khalei is the worst to be around heh.
If Bri absorbs energy through contact, maybe make her charisma gains from sex larger? If she’s leeching energy then that energy has to go somewhere. Maybe it would increase her Khalei stat also since she would be using it, and in a sense getting training in it, through sex.
Also, if sex with Bri either hurts Jeo or doesn’t fully heal him, can you move Bri from the bottom of the rotation? Maybe switch her with TT. That way Jeo can mitigate the detriments of sex with Bri by having sex with someone else before the day ends. It wouldn’t be game breaking since the other girl would need a high enough obedience to agree anyway. Otherwise the player will just have to have sex with one of the agents or captives every time.

I can add it later if it really needs it. you seem to be trying to lessen the ramifications of the khalei, while I am trying to stress them because i don’t think it is emphasized enough heh.
I’m just trying to figure out ways that incorporate your story ideas without greatly affecting gameplay. The game already plays great, don’t want to lessen the experience.

yes and it is taking a bit longer than expected. And I doubt it will be really finished before i release it. but I can get some feedback about what to tweak or change.
Loving the new stuff and it looks 100% more organized. Hope that 2.3 or whatever you would call the new version comes out soon.

got all the changes in place i wanted to have for not . now I just need to test if it is working correctly and test for tweaks balance stuff. I’ll try to make a crappy post today, but i will have to take screens with MS paint because I’ll be on my laptop lol.
