This game was in a unfinished state at the time I played it. As seen from the video, It was a bit difficult to maintain control of the character with the sliding mechanic. And a lot of enemies seemed to be placed in a position not to challenge you, but simply to annoy the hell out of you. The game overall seems to mix mechanics of bullethell type games mixed with the common scrolling ryona style pixel game. It is a good mix with lots of potential. It just needs flawless character movement to overcome all of the cheap surprises the developer added into the game. Majority of the time when I actually took damage, it was from a enemy who suddenly appeared from off screen, when I was in the air over a pit of enemies. And since enemies attacks break any momentum your character has, you drop like a rock into the pit.
