Vortex00 this is the preview for dark winter and so far all I have made. hopefully the next post about dark winter will be the finished video.
Keep in mind I’m not going for any movie awards here lol. I’m not in super try hard mode. But I do want to make something decent that recreates the 2D flash version.
I’ll probably have Maiko’s mouth closed and remove the black nose line.

Thanks, in the current version she is looking a bit less stiff and zombie like, but clearly she doesn’t want to be walking in the snow heh.
I love the new graphics of the title Dark Winter. The graphics look great also, if your looking for critic well I’ll say the music should be fading away into the snow, birds sound effect you have. Than quickly cutting off the music. Other than that I think the MMD looks good! The MMD Maiko Model is perfect I see there is less color on her. Than again it is dark out side since it’s a cold night winter where the event takes place.
Yeah remove the black nose line or try to see if you can make it red. When your out side in the cold. People’s nose do get red. If it looks funny than I guess remove the black line.
Thanks~ not sure what you meant by the music fading. I am just using the same audio extracted from the video file of the 2D animation. It is all mastered together already so I don’t have the ability to raise or lower the volumes of individual parts.
Yeah the color is kind of faded to math the setting. It would look odd if everything was vibrant and colorful heh. I just removed the line in the end, it looks much better without it.
Well I’m to the point where the last sentinel shoots out the missile at Maiko. That whole scene will be a bit different heh. In fact a lot of it is different in various ways but as different as the last part will be.
I still need to make Luma, and the scene with Chris.
The scene with chris I’ll add in during video editing thoguh. right now it is just a blank white screen.
I know there would be some new scene or different scene. Like I said can’t wait to set it side by side to see the difference.
I started rendering the final. Trying to finish it all today.
It’s not perfect by any stretch, but it’s pretty cool.
It’s more like how I originally wanted it to be.
Idk Luma’s hair was being a bitch at the end. it still looks a bit off but oh well heh. she is only visible for a few seconds at the end anyways.
