should have he next UMCH update ready to roll out early next week. Was trying to add in a different player character but I see it will likely take a bit more time. All of the areas I planned for the character to be able to go to are tailored specifically to Maiko. and I’d rather make new areas than try to go back and edit each existing areas with checks to see if the player is Maiko or not. Some are the same areas, but this character can’t do all the same things as Maiko. The interesting part is this character would see Maiko from thier person POV and be able to talk to her. So that part is talking a while, even just to kind of experiment around and see what works and what doesn’t. For example she can’t go back to Maiko’s house because she is not Maiko. So I was thinking having a different house even in a different area. Basically this character can access different areas of the game also.
Also ttrop finished the animation prep scenes from the voting stuff on patreon. That plus the animation I showed from the start of the month hopefully will all be added.
Currently I’m working with ttrop to redo the cafe sex animations. As many have requested a front view of those character during animation. Those cafe animations were some of the first animations created for the game so they are ok for touch up now that everything is just about done that I wanted to have for the core of the game.
The David quest is shaping up to be something similar to the main quest, as far as not super heavily in dialogue in the middle. I have been adding scenes for that quest as I went along in past updates. you will need to trigger some of those specific senses/events to reach the ending for this quest.

She has different hair and nails as maiko, and a pbone instead of tablet, and you will see Maiko at times, so hopefully it won’t be hard to tell who are playing as.

The quest is for Maiko. You will see what it is in the game. I’m not sure I understand your question fully though.

Sounds like a nice addition, and an alternate point of view in the game will be a nice touch. Does this mean selecting a character to play at the beginning or does it happen somewhere along the story line?
Eventually characters including this one will be unlocked. This one is likely to be unlocked after getting the cafe to lvl 4.
That is a cool idea, was always hoping for something, either new scenes or the addition of Holly, or something for raising the cafe’s popularity. Maybe something that allows you to start spending money once you grind for a bit, after awhile I was banking a lot of cash and just never had anyplace to put it.
You could maybe (if it’s not to much work and data consuming) make an unlockable character for the boxing club, swimmimg club and/or the sentinel battle club once you’d reach a certain level. (If that wasn’t already your intention.)
I am curious to see how this another player in Nanako mode will turn out, I know it will be good, but there is so much to take in consideration, like you already pointed out, that i just leave myself wondering what will happen XD

A new character to run around umch sounds pretty cool. Is it going to work like one of the Aria side stories where its a little offshoot from the main game? Or is this going to be its own game?
Also if we can customize her in game, does that mean she’s like the rookie where the player makes up her personality? Or is she already a set character?
I don’t think will be much if any story with this character. It propose is to allow for some things that come up that I can’t really agree with Maiko or some other character doing. But I wanted to do a bit more end have extras areas and stuff. For the customization is just selecting 1 of 4 faces. Stating small on customization becaue I’m not totally sure how everything will work yet.
this character could have a sexual interaction with Maiko 🙂

it will likely be optional to do front after you get enough sex exp. but it is not set in stone yet.
Can’t wait for this next update. New character, new scenes and maybe another things to unlock? Count me in.
