  1. Wow so many thing change over each version. As for the extra credit, shower mini the stuff remove because it was to repeating. Well you can always add the skip check mark so that is not annoying to anyone. As a matter of fact all the stuff you are having second thoughts about do to repeating pattern. You can always add that option of skip or auto that she does. Well if the player does it Manually, they get rewarded. The way you just said if you do it enough time. But I don’t know what reward might be. It is kind of like a achievement type of record in a way of Xbox Live.

    As for Maiko’s hair, looks OK. But when she is on her bed, her hair looks alive like it’s a fucking spider or something LMAO!

  2. Yeah it looks all wild and crazy lol. Like the just woke up or something and her hair is a complete mess. Her eyes are too much open I think also. A spider is a good description of what I’m trying to say. I can’t my finger on it exactly but you see what I’m talking about.

    Some of the stuff I took out thoguh has completely changed, like the shower scene. I think I will make a side version where you can see them actually cleaning themselves. And I can add back in the classroom part where you have to follow the lecture of the teacher. That is interesting, I could expand that even a bit further since there are multiple kinds of books in the game now.

    As for the timer you might get a bonus addition you her knowledge if you answer some question that is in a certain book within the time limit while in class.

    I could add back in rain but it might take a bit of effort because I would perhaps need to make them say something about it raining. I think if I had rain you would not be able to find any butterflies. And maybe gemco agents would not be standing around outside. As long as it changes the game in some way it is worth the effort.

    And I will see about adding back in where Maiko can do stuff with her breasts. If I can combine that with where you need to actually finish putting on her clothes that would be awesome.

    The side scrolling parts allow me to add in more passive items (like the body wash for example). So I think I can add in a new store for that type stuff. In UMSH that was Pattie’s dads store. I might adjust the story a bit so It could make sense that it open early or something.

  3. I also just realized I can probably have the Maiko I drew from Eriot’s lines as the Maiko that you see when in her room instead of the laying down thing that I have currently. The one here:

    This would be similar to the very first version of the game I showed in the video where you see Maiko on the bed sitting.

    That might better also since it is already make to be interactive and show more of Maiko. I could just add some arms so that her default action is still typing stuff in her tablet.

  4. Now that is even more interesting, it is the fix that it needed. The room does make it look more interactive. For the animation of the hobby Maiko is doing in her room.

    1. Around $15? was a genric number floating in my head currently. With a less price of about $10 during a funding period. That will be for people that might want to add thier own touch to the game. Aching Dreams 2 was $10 and the new Simgirls 2 will be about $14 and those two games are the only games even remotely comparable if you don’t count my own games. I have not looked at AD3 yet though. I would be intrested to know what you think it should be that is the most ideal situation. Obviously the work I put in would not be a zero value.

      The game aside from adding in some intro animations, one might condider it done. However I keep adding stuff to improve it or update the art. The video reflects that and I recently had a few ideas of stuff to add into the game. So it can released shortly after the funding period. I suspect I would finish everything during the funding period.

      I will also have a free version that will be quite substantial and filled with content as well. Certainly far from a demo. This will be released well before the funding period ends to help market the full version. I plan to start the process to get the game setup for funding by early next week. Once it is setup the period will be month to a month and a half or so.

  5. From watching the video I discovered some interesting stuff i didnt have the chance to test =/. I started visiting the website when you had go to school walking and was attacked by sentinels and had to do all those daily stuff.
    Well, when you said it can get repetitive, its just like real life, sometimes we are too tired to do some stuff and we just go “Ah, fuck that, I am going to sleep just like that”. The only way I can imagine it working is making it fun somehow, just like Joe said, giving rewards to the ones who desire to do so, if not, just add a skip button as it is now.
    I like the concept of having to button the shirt and all the other stuff, but as said before, after some time grinding for experience on other activities, these stuff just consume more time…
    The dressing thing could be used to strip and arouse the boys on some activity. The bath, you could have them washing each other on areas you click and depending where you do it, they comment on it like “Hey, dont touch there” or if it is a boy, you could masturbate him on the shower and other things.
    If moving from place to place was mandatory, lvling up the tracking skill could make you move faster, making you get to places with less time. It could be cool if the main skills of the game affected somehow the mundane and daily things… Like swimming makes you endure more on sex and helps you work out more on other activities such as tracking and fighting.
    And I dont know if its my monitor, but i cant see Maikos eyebrows, that got my attention during the hair scene…
    The game looks great Vortex, this timeline video was awesome and has shown how it got polished through eyers and still you have more ideas to me it even better, good luck!

    1. I’ll post some of those old versions in due time. Some could be to help market it. It is pretty neat because every 10 versions or so is like a totally different game lol. Or maybe like the same game, but made by different people. Made by different versions of me over the years. It’s pretty crazy for me to even think about it.

    1. The short answer is that none of these pages exists.
      This site contains all my updates on the development of this game alongside other games I am working on and other stuff I create. There is no one page on this site, that I currently update regularly, that is just about the development of this game.

      However a page about this game will be created after I have the game completed and ready for distribution and sale. That section will have all the information about any free and purchase versions when I have it all finalized. I am working to have this done this month, however the speed this gets done is contingent on a few other things in addition to myself.

    1. It’s been quite a while yes. Hell, even a sequel is well in it’s way to being thought out already.

      I think I only had that boob sucking clip present as a loop on the site and in umichan maiko deluxe. I’ll dig it up eventually when I start adding more of the stuff from the old site. And I’ll consider lactation when making more and/or editing old animations. Currently however lactating boobs is not really something I would be overly interested in adding. But that is true of most thing I guess. It takes me a me a while to desensitize myself to some of this stuff.

        1. There is no concept of health in the game as I recall. Maiko only gets dirty/sweaty or her head hurts from building circuits. Doing this action to undo some sort of effect is not a bad idea overall though.

  7. Well I certainly wasn’t expecting that video to be an hour long lol.

    Since you’re planning on adding the first person shower back to UMCH can you please not have the body wash rubbing thing in there? It seemed like it took too long, especially since later you can get sweaty/cum covered multiple times per day. Also how will 1st person shower work when you’re showering with someone else? You mentioned in the vid about Maiko and her partner helping to clean each other so that could be interesting, maybe having a friend help you speeds up the process. I know you haven’t mentioned how any of the sex scenes will work but does 1st person shower mean that sex in the shower won’t be an option anymore?

    Getting Maiko dressed in the older versions seemed tedious but parts of it were kinda interesting. I liked how a model of Maiko showed up and you could see how the various outfits looked on her. I think there are apps now that let you manage your wardrobe and see how things will look on you so maybe Maiko could have some kind of app on her tablet. Also would be fun to be able to mix and match outfits for Maiko to wear, she doesn’t need to be wearing her school uniform every time she goes out. Or maybe she could wear her bikini under her school clothes and turn some heads at the pool. The idea of Maiko walking around in just a tie is appealing also lol. Being able to customize how Maiko looks other than her regular and custom tops would be cool too, maybe have a few different kinds of outfits the player can buy and really make her look how the player wants.

    A lot of the stuff that fell by the wayside seemed tedious so it being gone is fine. The constantly draining time meter looked horrible, the current system is much better. I did like how some of the older versions showed you what time of day it was (i.e. Daytime: After School). That would be nice because the game currently has no way of telling you how long it is before dusk and night one time unit later. Not sure how this would function with coffee though. The bully fights seemed horrible too, it can still happen with David in the current UMCC but it doesn’t look like it’s nearly as bad as it was. The side scrolling walking animation between locations seemed extraneous also. The old sentinel battle system seemed way more complicated than the current version, so I’m glad that’s gone too though it was cool seeing Maiko fight with blades for no reason lol.

    1. Forgot to mention the classroom stuff. I like how it is currently but if you are going to add more to it then please consider allowing us to use the hairpin or sentinel pen to speed the process up.

      I understand your concern about the bodywash/shower, however the solution is probably not to take it out. Lately, I have noticed about myself that when people ask me to take something out first, and then proceed to defend why after, it sends me the wrong vibe. Because I feel that you are simply stating a knee-jerk solution/suggestion and didn’t think about it much at all. Yes I’m concerned about a problem you might have with it. But I will first think and explore different possibilities. Immediately taking stuff out because someone, or even a bunch of people have a problem with it, is hardly ever something I am ever keen on doing. As for how shower works with a friend Idk yet. I have some thoughts I am considering but it isn’t worth mentioning them yet.

      you will be able to see maiko from 3rd person several times during the game. and you will see how she looks in various clothing.

      The problem with Maiko walking around is whatever is that, people expect there to be some kind of reaction. So if there is no reaction I don’t bother adding it. walking in casual stuff and casual clothes for character can be added later. initially it will be just the school uniform though.

      I should be able to drop and drop the time of day thing into umch. it is based on the same mechanics that are in umch.

      About the blades, please understand that everything I do in a game like this is definitely for a reason. Even if it is not known solely from the medium it is shown/previewed in, such as this video or a few preview pics, etc. or even the game itself. Because my games share a story, the origin or expiation could come from another game or something else I have made. Maiko has those two dagger/blades she pulls from a purgatory portal. These type portals are seen in Crystal Hunter and Daughter of Eve, and Semitix. She also gets a giant sword also. All her weapons can materialize from the portal at will, and I thought about that way before final fantasy 15, she can’t teleport to them thoguh but the can appear anywhere and be moving from where they appeared. she could make it appear inside people but it takes a bit of time for the portal to open. Long enough for someone to get out the way if they notice in time because the portal is stationery when it begins to open. So back in that version of the game Maiko had already gone through the events where she gets the weapons. but later I changed it and will make it happen later on. perhaps it might be in UMCH.

      About classroom stuff. Once problem I think in UMCC was being able to skip and speed through everything. all that was added later and I’m not really that fond of it. So well see about the classroom stuff. You also have to not assume it will be the exact same thing for any of this. currently though the things Maiko needs to do are the same such as swimming and boxing, but the entire mini game itself is different for both of those. So lets save suggestions until after I implemented at least some form of it, because it is unlikely I will do it the same way.
