  1. Like the demo, I didn’t try the online at all. To busy doing something online. Would probably get a bad connection if I try. Probably try the online later.

    1. glad you like it. I at various points of the day I had a online game waiting for someone to join but never got anyone. I’m sure if work though if any wants to play against their buddy or something. else the single player is there. If I was a bit more heavy on 3D I could work the card game into some kind of 3D adventure game perhaps.

  2. Ah, you’ve changed the background. I like it. Though it maybe doesn’t fit the game perfectly, it still looks good.

    The demo itself is nice too. And still it’s just another card game made in the style of ARIA. I believe that it need its own feature. The feature that will make people to choose exactly this game and not any other.

    Maybe add some pleasant music? Gwent of the Witcher 3 had both great and funny soundtrack, and personally for me, the music was one of the reasons why I liked that mini-game.

    I would also recommend you to pay attention to the design. I think, more minimalist design would fit the game better since it’s made in techno style.

    And one more thing. Ari card seemed too overpowered to me. I only played one session, so I don’t know if there are any other too powerful cards and if the game is well-balanced or not.

    Good start, however. Keep it up. 😉

    1. I don’t know how to add sounds to cards. and I can’t redesign interface. I may not seem that way, but I don’t much about unity3d to do all that. I am just using a kit here that gives you a editor to make new cards. From there I also swapped out must of the art and added new art for the cards I made.

      some games I played with jccq89 took 15 minutes or so to play out, it seems more of less balanced.

      Ari is hard to deal with but I wouldn’t say she is over powered. By the time you get here there are a lot of cards that can deal with her if she is not used effectively. She is kind of designed as a card to make sure the games doesn’t go to too long. I actually think Luma is more a threat than Arielle.

      you mention good start but I am more or less done. I just need to fix the Riley card. This game was not designed to be anything major, just a small little game to switch things up a bit from my usual grind. Similar to make making a a few mmd videos or something. But I did want to make a Umichan theme card game like this also.

        But a card game based on one of your works is actually a good idea. Such things are addictive. Maybe in the future you will decide to create something like this. Calibrate the gameplay and the design, add some adult stuff and music – and woohoo. Seems, on Nutaku there have been similar stuff…

        Well, okay, it’s only simple in words but difficult in practice.

    1. it is most like hearthstone. I like card games also. I used to play magic the gathering a lot irl.

I really like games like this reminds me of crazymonkeygames.com’s monster master, but one thing missing from this one that will have me playing this for hrs at a time and days in a row: is a deck edit/deck list. With a deck edit/deck list, not only can players build strategies based off their favorite cards/characters from the ARIA series, but players can also have an idea of what moves to make before time runs out, lol. In all seriousness, I really appreciate your work, thanks a lot and keep it up.

  5. If this game had a deck edit/deck list so that I can make a deck around my favorite cards or characters from the series, it would be hard for me to put this game down for much of anything.

    1. the kit I made it with actually has a deck builder, rankings, card packs, all that.
      The problem is he made it go through some sever that I am unfamiliar with, I would need to set it up and always have it running instead of just using a database on a website. If I can get the server running I can add in those options to the game, and maybe even some gallery based on how many wins you have or something.

  6. Played this for about two hours just now. Didnt try the online mode but from what I played I liked.

    I dont know if it was the resolution I was playing on but it was extremely hard for me to read the cards and what they all did as well as the mana costs. Is there anyway to bring up a larger version of the card to view before playing? Guess I hadnt figured that out if there is a way.

    Would be nice to see an H version of the game, or maybe some CG unlockables or something to spice things up a bit, but that’s just nitpicking for more ARIA.

      you can select the resolution of the game in the unity start up screen.
      also you can right click the cards to see them clearly.

      the problem with H version is the person that made the kit used some unity server thing to handle online stuff and that server doesn’t allow adult stuff. so I’d have it make it offline to have H stuff. I’m not knowledgeable enough in unity and C# to make my own online stuff from scratch.

      1. As soon as I read your other comment I put two and two together and figured that, that was the reason why.

        An offline H-version wouldn’t hurt, but at the same time it doesn’t really allow your community here to share and experience the game as much as the other version does with online connectivity. A double edged sword until a solution presents itself.
