It is hard as hell to edit a dress that fits Maiko!
On a side note, I’ve been on a bit of a creative block in terms of mmd videos. Just now getting over it.
Not sure what I was doing with the camera, was just having fun following the music.

Wow there is a lot happening in the animation for being a short clip. I notice that this model there are more animation on the dress. Also the Background, Foreground animation have a lot happening too. The frame per second is moving faster.
Also Maiko removing her dress with her powers. I wonder if her final form Charity is able to morph her cloth out of her or create new cloth with her mind. Don’t mind me I’m just second guessing her. LOL
I was thinking about making a Charity that she could transform into. it would look pretty cool. I finally got the plugin to work with the help of a mmd buddy of mine. So I can actually finish Maiko once and for all and make the other characters in the story.
So a story 3D of MMD to put them into a story. Well my body is ready! ^_^

On another note, the video is pretty good, i like how you try to experiment with all assets you have been discovering through time. How she removes and puts back up her clothing and even the dress vanishing, good work!

I already love your work Vortex but holy shit man! This I’d love to really see more of. Yup boobs are always great, but the combination of dance, bass and camera really grabs your attention ramps this one up to my favorite. Wish it was longer, I’d love to see the full song. That and you didn’t go overboard with the crazy swirly light FX.. I dig’em, but sometimes it seems to drown out the character itself.

Yeah there is a lot of energy in the song and the motion choreography so I was pretty inspired. Plus it is really no pressure on me to make any mmd videos, so I can just make small tweaks here and there, and try stuff out to see how it looks whenever I am feeling like working on mmd stuff. It is a good context switch because most of my development time is spend coding..
